EDMONTON, AB – Campio Brewing has announced the latest release in its Wild Ales Series.
Haskap Dark Sour (8.1% abv):
From the small batch brewing process, to handling and caring for the barrels, to sourcing the fruit from local farmers, to each hand-labelled bottle; the Wild Ales Series really is a labour of love and the team at Campio is very proud of this project. It showcases what we do best and what we love about this craft.
Our Haskap Dark Sour was brewed with 80kg of hand-harvested Haskap berries from local producer Rosy Farms. A jammy and funk-forward treat starring Haskap berries and notes of black raspberry.
Haskap Dark Sour features a label designed by local artist Hannah Reaper, and is officially launching at Campio today (August 16th) at 5:00 PM. Brewery operations manager Teaghan Mayers and head brewer Brett Geislinger will both be on hand to share samples of the beer and talk about the brewery’s Wild Ales program.
