Counterflow Brewing Returns at Tin Whistle Brewery

PENTICTON, BC – A contract brewery that was put on hold last year due to the closure of its production location has announced its return to market via a new brewing partner.

Counterflow Brewing debuted in 2020 with beers brewed at Penticton’s Bad Tattoo Brewing, but had to cease operations in December 2022 when Bad Tattoo was closed and sold to Yellow Dog Brewing.

After several months off, Counterflow has found a new home at Tin Whistle Brewery and has released a new batch of Paradigm Shift Pink Guava Berliner Weisse (4.7% abv), a revival of the first beer that Counterflow brewed at Bad Tattoo.

“When we purchased Tin Whistle Brewing in the fall of 2020 we committed to respecting the history of the brewery while driving it forward in innovation of the beer and art,” said Tin Whistle co-owner Timothy Scoon in a statement. “Counterflow’s origination story of passionate beer lovers being driven to develop creative beers with differentiated art by Liz Ranney definitely made it a natural fit for the Tin Whistle family.”

Counterflow Paradigm Shift is available now at the Tin Whistle taproom and retail store, and select local bars and restaurants.
