HALIFAX, NS – After just over five years in business, the Halifax location of craft beer bar and restaurant HopYard has shut down.
As reported by Atlantic Canada Beer Blog, HopYard Halifax closed its doors last week with little warning, and the location’s social media accounts and page on the HopYard website have all been taken offline.
Opened in August 2018 as an off-shoot of HopYard in Charlottetown, HopYard Halifax retained the “Beer – Food – Vinyl” motto of the original location, with rotating taps featuring beers from across the Maritimes, a menu of snacks and small meals that changed on a regular basis, and a wide variety of music on vinyl for customers to choose from.
HopYard Charlottetown is unaffected by the closure and remains open for business.
