Something In The Water Brewing Releases Grand River Oktoberfestbier

TORONTO, ON – Something In The Water Brewing has announced the release of a new seasonal lager.

Grand River Oktoberfestbier (6.9% abv):

Grand River Oktoberfestbier is a Märzen that’s been hopped with fresh Hallertau cones that were on the bines at The Tavistock Hop Company less than 24 hours before we used them. We literally picked them up at the hopyard, drove them to the brewery, and got them into the beer. It’s an Oktoberfestbier that’s just a little darker, a little richer, a little heavier, and a little higher in alcohol than you may be used to. Grand River is ruby red in colour, full bodied, and malty with flavours of marzipan, honey, and pumpernickel bread.

Grand River Oktoberfestbier is available now at both Something In The Water locations, and the brewery’s online shop.

An Oktoberfest party will be taking place at SITW Toronto starting at 6:00 PM today (September 15th), featuring grilled bratwurst, pretzels, and limited edition 1 litre steins that can be purchased to take home. The steins will also be available at the SITW Kingston taproom while supplies last.
