VANCOUVER, BC – Following last week’s release of two collaborative beers in advance of the upcoming (and sold out) F*$king Awesome Festival, Superflux Beer Company has announced that three further collaborations can now be pre-ordered for pick-up this coming weekend.
OGG West Coast IPA (6.5% abv):
When Steven Ogg stopped by the brewery to chat about collaborating on a beer he said he loves drinking crisp clean IPAs that have a lot of flavour but are still highly crushable – so that’s exactly what we made. Dry hopped with New Zealand grown Cascade from Freestyle Hop Farm, Centennial, and Citra. We taste notes of orange juice, pine sap, and pineapple.
The Worshipper IPA (6.5% abv):
The Worshipper is a collaboration with Holy Mountain Brewing in Seattle. We have been long time fans of everything Holy Mountain does and it’s a real honour to brew this beer with them. We made an IPA and dry hopped it with Holy Mountain’s selected Mosaic and Citra Cryo as well as Citra Frozen Fresh Hop Cryo. The result is juicy and bright with lovely green fresh hop character.
Pepino’s Pineapple Pale (5% abv):
Pepino’s has been our favourite place to eat meatballs in Vancouver for a long long time, and now we finally have the pleasure of collaborating with these folks. Everything they do is well thought out and executed perfectly and we wanted to make a beer to match.
After turning down the idea of a parmesan rind beer, we decided to create Penino’s Pineapple Pale. It is dry hopped with Galaxy and Citra and then dosed with Pineapple purée. The result is balanced, delicious, and drinkable. The aroma is a big ripe pineapple and the finish is a juicy little pale ale.
All three beers can be pre-ordered now via the Superflux website while supplies last.
