PARADISE, NL – Banished Brewing has announced the return of a beer inspired by a very important person.
Jim Time Double IPA (8% abv):
In the beginning, there was Jim! For real – Jim is the father of one of our owners (Tom). In the early days of getting Banished up off the ground, we tagged Jim in to help guide us through all types of practicalities in bringing the place to life. Without Jim we can’t imagine the headaches we would have ran into. So, naturally the only thing to do was brew his favourite type of beer in his honour – Jim Time Double IPA.
Jim Time is loaded with Citra, Mosaic, and Cascade in the boil and then very generously double dry-hopped with Citra and Mosaic. With a couple minor tweaks, this is our third time brewing was has become one of our most popular beers!
Jim Time is available now at the Banished Brewing taproom, retail shop, and online store, and soon at select beer retailers in Newfoundland.
