TORONTO, ON – Bellwoods Brewery has announced the 2023 edition of its 100% spontaneously inoculated wild beer, which is available this year in two different versions.
Intermodal 2023 (6.6% abv) and Intermodal Cherry 2023 (6.2% abv):
Intermodal gets exposed to the elements and early fall temperatures in our outdoor coolship, where it is joined by the finest wild yeast and microorganisms capable of transforming it into beer. Then, it spends a few years in oak barrels, growing and fermenting, before we awaken it from its slumber and condition it in bottles to prepare for the real world.
The 2023 versions are both 3 year old barrel blends, one with fresh Ontario cherries and one without. If you like an elevated, effervescent, tart, dry, and fruity sipper, these are your jam.
Both versions of Intermodal 2023 are available now at the Bellwoods retail stores and online shop.
