Broadhead Brewery Brings Back Rye & Ginger Ale and Underdog Pale Ale for 12th Anniversary

OTTAWA, ON – Broadhead Brewery has announced the return of two past favourite beers to mark the brewery’s 12th anniversary.

Rye & Ginger Ale (5.1% abv):

If you’re craving a ginger-focused ale, look no further. Unapologetically unfiltered, it pours a rich medium copper hue, slightly hazy, crowned with a frothy off-white head. We’ve packed heaps of freshly zested ginger and incorporated 40% Rye malt for a touch of spiciness. The aroma is a ginger-citrus dance with rye graininess and hints of cinnamon. Take a sip, and you’ll find ginger dancing on a rye “spice” malt base, with a zesty citrus twist. Light to medium bodied, effervescent, and a moderately dry finish. It’s a nod to our beginnings, with a touch of refinement as we’ve matured.

Underdog Pale Ale (5.2% abv):

This revamped classic, our first-ever brew, pours a pale burnt orange with a moderate white head. The aroma boasts citrus, grapefruit, hints of pine, and a touch of malt sweetness. The palate follows suit, with upfront citrus and grapefruit, balanced by a pleasing malt sweetness that tames the finishing hop bite. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation, this pale ale showcases 12 years of brewing expertise.

Both beers are available now at the Broadhead taproom, retail store and online shop.
