CALGARY, AB – The winners of the Alberta Beer Awards for 2023 were announced last night as part of the Alberta Craft Brewing Convention in Calgary.
This year’s edition had 95 medals awarded in 32 categories, with the winners selected via blind tasting by certified judges from a pool of 517 entries from 79 breweries.
Top awards in this year’s competition include:
Brewery of the Year
The Establishment Brewing Company
New Brewery of the Year
Stonyslope Brewing
Best in Show
Gold – The Establishment Brewing Company – Left My Wallet in El Segundo Lichtenhainer with Pineapple
Silver – Blindman Brewing – Cascadian Double IPA
Bronze – Two Pillars Brewery – Belgian Blonde
