DARTMOUTH, NS – North Brewing and Benjamin Bridge Winery have announced the latest vintage of their annual collaborative beer.
Saison de Chardonnay 2022 (7.5% abv):
Brewed from a light saison base in the fall of 2022, and then co-fermented with freshly-pressed chardonnay juice, this blend was left to develop in the tank throughout the winter months. Fermented with Escarpment Labs Cerberus yeast strain, and naturally carbonated prior to packaging, this blend presents aromas of lemon and lime, orange marmalade, and subtle saison spice. Golden straw in the glass, it is a full-bodied beer while technically still being quite dry, with a low bitterness level and wonderful vinous character from the Chardonnay.
