BRANDON, MB – Just over two years after it officially opened as the first modern-day brewery in Brandon, Manitoba, Black Wheat Brewing has been put up sale.
As reported by the Brandon Sun, the business including all equipment has been listed with a $1.5 million asking price, with the possibility that the building could also be purchased separately.
Co-owner Ted Birch declined to comment when reached by the newspaper, but while a buyer is being sought, the Black Wheat brewery and taproom remain in operation as usual.
