Blindman Brewing Releases Coffee Stout and Toasted Basil Hayden Barrel Aged Imperial Stout

LACOMBE, AB – Blindman Brewing has announced the release of two seasonal stouts.

Coffee Stout (4.8% abv):

Our coffee stout returns, using the same custom Birdy blend as last year and circulating the beer through the whole beans instead of using cold brew concentrate. The result is a lovely coffee aroma and flavour, with a nice dry stout backbone. On the labels, you’ll also find 15 different microfiction pieces from 15 Alberta writers.

Toasted Basil Hayden Barrel Aged Imperial Stout (11.6% abv):

This time around, we racked some of our Ichorous imperial stout into toasted Basil Hayden barrels. The beer sat in barrel for 323 days, getting all that toasty, oaky, bourbon goodness, and some of the residual alcohol from the bourbon. It’s big and bold and perfect for a cold winters’ evening. Or morning, if that’s what you’re into.

Both beers are available now in the Blindman taproom, retail shop, and online store, and soon at select beer retailers in Alberta.
