Backcountry Brewing and Protect Our Winters Canada Releasing Collaborative Pale Ale

SQUAMISH, BC – Backcountry Brewing has announced the return of a beer released in partnership with environmental charity Protect Our Winters Canada.

Protect Our Winters Pale Ale (4.5% abv) is described as a “sessionable dry-hopped hazy pale ale [with] dank and tropical fruit notes” from the Citra, Simcoe, and Mosaic hops.

The beer has been produced and packaged with the support of sponsors including Hops Connect Canada, BSG Canada, Rahr Malting, Summit Labels, Cancraft and Econic Apparel.

The label features artwork provided by the estate of Chili Thom, a local artist who passed away from cancer in 2016, and whose paintings have been featured on many charity beers from Backcountry over the last several years.

Protect Our Winters Pale Ale will be officially released on Thursday November 30th, and will be available in cans and on tap at locations throughout British Columbia until February. Backcountry will donate $1 per 4-pack, 50 cents for each glass served in the brewery tasting room, and $50 per keg sold to Protect Our Winters Canada.
