House of Funk Brewing Releases Flower Veil Baltic Porter and Noir Dark Berliner Weisse

NORTH VANCOUVER, BC – House of Funk Brewing has announced the release of two new beers for those who are “craving something dark, chocolatey, robust, and mouthwatering delicious”.

Flower Veil Foeder Aged Baltic Porter (7.5% abv):

Brewed with a complex malt bill and fermented in Foeder #3, this beer was fermented cold with a larger strain creating a very clean & highly drinkable Baltic Porter. After it finished fermentation we then lagered it in the same oak vessel to let it develop more wood character. Let it warm a little in the glass to unlock layers of bakers chocolate, demerara sugar, caramel, and char.

Noir Dark Brett Berliner Weisse (4% abv):

Brewed with the darker months in mind but still keeping things funky, this Berliner Weisse has heaps of our favorite Belgian malt, Special B in it, giving it rich aromas of dried fruit, black cherry & kola nuts. We also fermented this beer with Brettanomyces bruxellensis in stainless to compliment the flavors. Being a berliner weisse this beer has a touch of acidity & finishes dry

Flower Veil and Noir are available now at the House of Funk taproom, retail store, and online shop.
