Katalyst Brewing Closing Down in Bracebridge, Ontario

BRACEBRIDGE, ON – Just short of four years since its opened, Katalyst Brewing has announced that it will be ceasing operations later this month.

Katalyst Brewing was originally launched as a contract brewery in 2016 by Mark Verok and Krystal Perepeluk, and opened a physical brewery and taproom in January 2020 in a historic building in downtown Bracebridge, Ontario.

In an announcement posted on social media, the couple said that they have “had our share of highs and lows, met a ton of great people and brewed some great beers” during their four years in Bracebridge, and that they “would like to thank all of our friends (new and old), family, and faithful customers that have made this ride what it was.”

Katalyst Brewing will be closing on Friday December 22nd. In the meantime, they invite everyone to “stop by and say hey, share your favourite memory of the place, and share a pint.”
