LANGLEY, BC – Farm Country Brewing has been purchased by South Asian owned contract brewing company Magic Malts Brewing.
The acquisition was announced last week on Instagram, with a statement noting that “although we’re sister companies now, Magic Malts and Farm Country will continue to operate separately, staying true to our individual identities.”
Farm Country was opened in December 2019 by Arnold Tobler and Travis Keyworth, and specializes in beers that are “fresh, flavourful and innovative yet still true to the traditions of old-world styles.”
Magic Malts launched earlier this year with the slogan “Imagined in India, Brewed in Canada”. Its beers had initially been brewed at Vancouver Urban, but production will presumably now be moving to the Farm Country facility.
