Blind Enthusiasm Brewing Releases Yukon Meadows 2023 Barrel-Aged Dark Lager and Mirror Test Mixed Fermentation Blend

EDMONTON, AB – Blind Enthusiasm Brewing has announced the release of a new vintage of a barrel-aged lager, and a collaboration with a local beer bar.

Yukon Meadows 2023 Barrel-Aged Dark Lager (9.8% abv):

Yukon Meadows 2023 was made using Two Brewers Whisky barrels, and is the perfect winter beer. This dark lager spent 10 months aging in the whisky barrels, resulting in a beer that is rich and chocolatey, with gentle boozy warming finish.

Mirror Test Mixed Fermentation Blend (6.9% abv):

Mirror Test is a collaboration blend with our friends at Slow Pour Beer Bar to celebrate their one year anniversary! Together we tasted and meticulously chose our favourite barrels from The Monolith cellars. This blend of 1 & 2 year Mixed Fermentation barrels focuses on classic flavours and prominent wine character from California red wine barrels. The result is blueberry, and citrus pith aromatics with pomelo, stone fruit, and strong red wine flavours. It finishes with bright carbonation, drying tannins and a velvety wine like acidity.

Both beers are available now at Blind Enthusiasm’s Biera and The Monolith locations, and Mirror Test is also available at Slow Pour while supplies last.
